Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the hours of operation?

The Lighthouse Learning Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. If care is needed outside of regular business hours, arrangements must be made in advance and accommodation will be made if possible.

When should parents expect closures?

The Lighthouse Learning Center observes Federal and State Holidays. Notification will be sent a week in advance for all closures unrelated to weather. We also close as needed for extreme weather conditions as observed by the Laramie County School District #1.

Are meals provided?

Nutritionally balanced snacks and meals will be provided and planned with the needs of children’s age and appropriate portion in mind. Menus are kept on file for viewing and will be provided to parents monthly via handouts and through other electronic means.

Can my child be transported to and from school?

In addition to transporting children to and from field trips, Lighthouse Learning Center, LLC. provides transportation to and from Davis Elementary School, Hobbs Elementary School, Jessup Elementary School, and Anderson Elementary School. Transportation to and from other schools may be requested but cannot be guaranteed without prior arrangements with the Director.

Does this facility accept DFS Assistance?

Most definitely!

Is this center safe? How can I know?

We strive for safety, security, and peace and demand nothing less from our staff. We have two executive staff on board who create plan reviews for our teachers and meet one another on a weekly basis to address concerns and to collaborate as they create their classroom schedules. With this, we are able to ensure that we are providing positive classroom operations and that our children are happy, educated, and supervised.

Licensed childcare complaint and compliance history can be found at here or by contacting the local childcare licensing official.

The Lighthouse Learning Center does not have any violations.
